Zane Jansone-Langina is a passionate optometrist who works with patients of all age groups. All the time Zane is seeking improvement by participating at European Optometry conferences, workshops and summer schools. Zane is a lecturer and a Phd student at the University of Latvia and looking forward to finishing her thesis about cataract induced color vision changes.

How are we seeing the future of telemedicine where VR headsets can help us to perform diagnostic testing? Where will the future take us? Will finding a patient’s refraction still be an optometrist’s concern or instead will we concentrate more on training the brain?
